Historic Touring Car
Chevy Nova 1964 Sedan
|
History |
This car, as far as I know was built by Rob Perozzi in
the late 80s/early 90s as an appendix J car. Rob as I understand
campaigned it at Wannaroo. The car was on sold to Craig Bradtke who also
campaigned it along with Jim Innis. From what I can ascertain the car was
last used in 1998. |
|
Where its at |
I purchased the car from Craig in 2005 with the intent
of restoring it and campaigning it as an Nb car. The car has been repainted
(DuPont) (unfinished) the rear end returned to standard, new brakes all
round, alloy fuel tank and radiator manufactured & new hood lining. The
windows and mudguards (a spare set of front mudguards are included) along
with the front end are yet to be fitted. As it was used as a full on race
car some of the panels cannot be returned to original which leaves some
misalignment to the trunk lid etc. |
|
Log Book |
The log book cannot be found and CAMS seem reluctant to
reissue a replacement, primarily due to the alloy roll bar. I have the log
book number. |
|
Engine |
Chevy 327, lightened and balanced not run since
rebuild, holly 750, alloy radiator, oil cooler, catch tank etc. Apparently
good for 400+ hp. |
